The 2011 Child Abuse Prevention Day at the Capitol brought nearly 200 advocates across the state together to voice their support for the Office of Child Abuse Prevention (OCAP) and other child abuse prevention programs such as Oklahoma Parents as Teachers (OPAT), Head Start, and Early Head Start. Citizens passed out more than 1,200 "Budget Crunch" cards in support of child abuse prevention efforts and many spoke with their state legislators.
